KAOD dismissed Philip Covic

KAOD dismissed Philip Covic. The team from Drama announced the mutual agreement between the two sides and the Serbian player is out of the team. Covic played 10 games with KAOD and had 4.1 points and 1.2 assists average per game.

Filip Covic, PG, after big contribution in last two wins of Kaod Drama agreed with the club to leave due to the personal reasons.

KAOD defeated Panionios for the third day of Greek Basketball League

KAOD hosted and defeated Panionios for the third day of Greek Basketball League. Panionios had won for Eurocup earlier this week and had two victories in the first two games of the League. Guy-Marc Michel came back to Drama as an opponent, after playing two years for KAOD. First quarter was very tight with the teams close to score. KAOD started the second quarter better and took the lead by 11 points 28-17. Then PAOK started its counter attack with a 10-0 rally which finished the first half with score 30-35. Chrysikopoulos, Marković and Covic in third quarter managed to change the lead for another time and third quarter finished with KAOD in the lead. McCollum tried to lower the difference in fourth quarter but KAOD managed to keep it and double its victories for the Greek League. Edin Bavčić finished the game with a double double, 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Aris wins KAOD in Drama with 66-58 for the first day of the Greek Basketball League 2013-2014. KAOD started the game more prepared than Aris with Chrisikopoulos in a great day but Aris defense tightened in the last quarter. Quarters' scores 18-17, 33-28, 45-48, 58-66.

Lukoil Academic won KAOD with one point in the last minute but PAOK won Lukoil Academic with one point in the last minute with 76-75 and qualified in the final of the friendly tournament in Drama.

KAOD lost the second game at the friendly tournament that the team from Drama hosts. After the defeat from Panionios, KAOD lost from Lukoil Academic with 77-76. Dimitris Verginis scored 7 points.

KAOD announced Nikola Marković

KAOD announced Nikola Marković from Red Star (Crvena Zvezda) on loan for a year. The 24 years old Serbian forward was playing for Radnički FMP and Vojvodina Srbijagas in the previous season. Nikola played with KAOD in the friendly game against PAOK where he was the leading scorer for his team. His average statistics are 11.8 points per game and 5.0 rebounds per game.

KAOD signs Christian Polk

Christian Polk, 26 play maker, signed a contract with KAOD, the team of Drama.

Christian Polk previously played for Polpharma in Poland and in NBA Development League.
