Aris signed Ramon Harris

Aris signed Ramon Harris. The 30-year-old American forward graduated from Kentucky and went undrafter in the 2010 NBA Draft. Harris started his professional career in Venezuela with Trotamundos de Carabobo. He has also played in China with Ningxia Hanas, in Germany with BG Gottingen, in Mexico for Rayos de Hermosillo, and in G League with Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Iowa Energy, and Grand Rapids Drive. In the previous season Harris joined Kolossos Rodou and in 28 games he averaged 9.3 points and 5.3 rebounds.

PAOK signed Giannis Athinaiou. The 30-year-old Greek guard penned a two years contract with PAOK. Athinaiou has more than 200 caps in the Basket League Greece having played for five teams: Panionios, KAOD, Aris, AEK, and Olympiacos. He has also played abroad for Armani Milano in Italy and Eskisehir in Turkey. In his last season, Athinaiou averaged 8.6 points, 2.7 assists, and 2.3 rebounds in 24 games with Aris. 

Kymi signed Chris Horton

Kymi signed Chris Horton. The 24-year-old American center graduated from Austin Peay and played in NBA G League for the Grand Rapids Drive. In the previous season, Horton played in Hungary with Alba Fehervar where he averaged 8.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.

AEK signed Xavier Rathan-Mayes. The 24-year-old Canadian guard graduated from Florida State and went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft. In his rookie season, Rathan-Mayes played 44 games in the NBA G-League with the Westchester Knicks and 5 games in the NBA with Memphis Grizzlies.

Panionios signed Sir'Dominic Pointer

Panionios signed Sir'Dominic Denzel Pointer. The 26-year-old American forward graduated from St. John’s and was drafted with the 53rd pick of the 2015 NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. Pointer started his professional career in the NBA G-Leauge with Canton Charge and has also played in Israel with Hapoel Eilat and Ironi Kiryat Ata, in Lebanon with Byblos Club, and in Hungary with Alba Fehérvár.

Aris signed Gary McGhee. The 30-year-old American center graduated from Pittsburgh and went undrafted in the 2011 NBA Draft. This will be the third season and team in Basket League Greece for McGhee who joined Kolossos Rodou in 2015 and Kymi in 2017. McGhee graduated from Pittsburgh and went undrafted in the 2011 NBA Draft. He started his professional career in Turkey with Bandirma Kirmizi, and he has also played in Germany with Medi Bayreuth, MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg, and Walter Tigers Tόbingen, in France with BCM Gravelines, in Spain with Cafes Candelas Breogan, and in Kosovo with KB Sigal Pristina.

Holargos signed Darrin Dorsey. The 31-year-old American guard penned an one-year contract with the newly promoted club. Dorsey graduated from Berea College and went undrafted in the 2011 NBA Draft. Dorsey started his professional career in Canada with Halifax Rainmen and then moved to South America where he played for Ostioneros de Guaymas in Mexico, for Cafeteros Armenia and Bambuqueros de Neiva in Colombia, and for Unión de Santa Fe in Argentina. Dorsey has also played in Israel for Hapoel Kfar-Saba/Kohav Yair, in France for Poitiers, Le Portel, and Élan Chalon, and in Turkey for Uşak Sportif.

Kolossos Rodou signed Timothy Kempton jr. The 23-year-old American forward graduated from Lehigh and went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft. He was named Patriot League Rookie of the Year in 2014, named twice Patriot League Player of the Year (2015 and 2016), and he named in the First-team All-Patriot League for three seasons. Kempton started his professional career in Spain with Bilbao but after eleven games he moved to Israel for Bnei Herzliya. In 25 games with Bnei Herzliya he averaged 3.8 points and 3.3 rebounds.

AEK sign Tyler Evan Roberson. The 24-year-old American forward penned an one year contract with the Greek club. Robinson graduated from Syracuse and was selected by the Agua Caliente Clippers with the 15th pick in the 2017 NBA G League Draft. In 45 games with the Agua Caliente Clippers Roberson averaged 9.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.

Panionios signed Nate Britt

Panionios signed Nathaniel (Nate) Britt. The 24-year-old American guard graduated from North Carolina where he won the NCAA Championship of 2017. Britt went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft and started his professional career with the Westchester Knicks of the NBA G League. In December 2017 Britt signed with Glasgow Rocks where he averaged 11.7 points and 3.5 assists per game.

Kolossos Rodou signed Quincy Diggs. The 28-year-old American forward graduated from the University of Akron and went undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft. Diggs started his professional career in Austria with Redwell Gunners Oberwart and has also played in Germany with Eisbaeren Bremerhaven, in Czech Republic with CEZ Nymburk, and in France with Boulazac Basket Dordogne. In 24 games with Boulazac Diggs averaged 6.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game.

Holargos sign Thomas Kottas. The 22-year-old Greek center penned a one year contract with the newly promoted club. Kottas started his professional career with PAOK in 2013 and in 2016 he moved to Rethymno. In his last season with Rethymno, he averaged 2.3 points and 1.8 rebounds in 26 games.

Kymi signed Rod Camphor. The 26-year-old American guard graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State and went undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft. Camphor started his professional career in Lithuania with Nevėžis, and he has also played for Bayer Giants Leverkusen, KTE-Duna Aszfalt, Hamburg Towers, Leuven Bears, and Turów Zgorzelec. In 25 games with Turów he averaged 11.7 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.7 rebounds per game.

Ifestos Limnou signed Sean Evans. The 29-year-old American forward graduated from St. John's and went undrafted in the 2011 NBA Draft. In January 2017 Evans joined Lavrio and started the next season with Promitheas. Evans played only nine games with Promitheas before moving to Boca Juniors and Rabotnički.

Vince Hunter renews with AEK


Vince Hunter renews with AEK for one more season. The 23-year-old American center joined AEK in January 2018 and helped the club to win the Basketball Champions League and the Greek cup.

Aris sign Lucky Jones. The 25-year-old American guard/forward graduated from Robert Morris and went undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft. Jones started his professional career in Belgium with Liège Basket and has also played in France for Hyères-Toulon. In January 2017 Jones signed with Promitheas Patras and after 14 games he moved to PAOK. Jones averaged 10.7 points and 5.4 rebounds with Promitheas and 7.9 points and 5.1 rebounds with PAOK.

Phillip Alexander Goss renews with PAOK. The 35-year-old American guard joined PAOK in November 2017 and in 38 games for the domestic league and Basketball Champions League, he averaged 12.9 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Holargos signed Dionysis Skoulidas

Holargos signed Dionysis Skoulidas. The 21-year-old Greek forward started his professional career at the age of 14 with Peristeri. In 2016 Skoulidas signed with AEK and in the last season he played on loan to Koroivos Amaliadas. With Koroivos Skoulidas averaged 3.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. Skoulidas is a member of all Greek junior national teams.

Kolossos Rodou signed Giorgos Georgakis. The 27-year-old Greek center started his professional career in 2010 with Kavala. Georgakis has also played with Olympiacos, Trikala, KAOD, Koroivos Amaliadas, Doxa Lefkadas, and Iraklis. In the last season, he averaged 3.9 points and 3.2 rebounds in 23 games with Iraklis for the A2 League.

Kyser has played with the Raptors 905, Salt Lake City Stars, Enosis Neon Paralimni, and in the last season, he joined Kymi. In 22 games for the Basket League, Kyser averaged 6.7 points, 5 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks. Kyser finished first in made blocks in the regular season, counting 38 blocks in total.

Peristeri signed Henrik Sirko. The 25-year-old Croatian forward penned a two years contract with the newly promoted club. Sirko started his professional career with Šibenka in 2008. After two years in Croatia Sirko moved to Bosnia with Široki TT Kabeli and has also played for Kvarner, Zadar and KK Split. In the last season, Sirko averaged 11.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists for the ABA2 League.

Zamal Nixon renews with Lavrio. This will be the fourth season that the 29-year-old American guard plays for Lavrio. Nixon graduated from Houston and after going undrafted in the 2011 NBA Draft he started his professional career in Germany with Hertener Loewen. He has also played for Nürnberger, WBC Raiffeisen Wels, and Phoenix Hagen. In 2015 he joined Lavrio and after a short break with Limoges CSP, he re-signed with the club in 2016 and renewed his contract in 2017. In the lase season Nixon averaged 10.7 points, 3.5 assists, and 2 rebounds per game.

Promitheas signed Rion Brown. The 27-year-old American guard graduated from Miami Hurricanes and started his professional career in Israel with Hapoel Tel Aviv. Brown has also played in Belgium with Brussels, in Finland with Joensuun Kataja, and in France with Digione. In his last season with Digione Brown averaged 12.6 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.

Lavrio signed Milan Milosevic. The 33-year-old Bosnian forward started his career with Hercegovac and has also played for Sloboda Tuzla, Crvena Zvezda, Bosna, Keravnos Strovolou, Budućnost Podgorica, and Zlatorog Laško. In 2014 Milosevic signed with AEK where he played three seasons before moving to Promitheas Patras. With Promitheas he averaged 12.6 points and 5.7 rebounds.

Holargos signed Toarlyn Fitzpatrick. The 29-year-old American forward started his professional career in Belgium for Kangoeroes Basket Willebroek where he averaged 7.8 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. In 2014 Fitzpatrick joined Apollon Patras where he averaged 11.3 points and 7.3 rebounds in 26 games. In the next season Fitzpatrick moved to Germany for  Tigers Tübingen and in 2016 he returned to Greece for Rethymno Cretan Kings. With Rethymno, he averaged 12.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. After Rethymno Fitzpatrick moved to Japan where he played for Akita Northern Happinets and Cyberdyne Ibaraki Robots.

AEK signed Malcolm Griffin

AEK signed Malcolm Griffin. The 27-year-old American guard penned a 1+1 year contract. Griffin graduated from Fresno Pacific and went undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft. He started his professional career in Morroco with Wydad Athletic Club Casablanca but mid season he returned to the USA and the Midwest Professional Basketball Association with Champaign Swarm. After winning the title of MPBA he returned to Morroco and played for Fath US de Rabat and AS Salé. In 2016 Griffin played in Lithuania for Liepājas Lauvas. In 2017 Griffin signed with Kolossos Rodou and in 13 games he averaged 15.9 points and 5 assists. Griffin finished the season in Russia with Zenit Saint Petersburg, averaging 3.8 points and 3.5 assists for the VTB League and 10.8 points and 4.2 assists for the Eurocup.

Olympiacos signed Axel Toupane. The 26-year-old French forward penned a two years contract with Olympiacos. Toupane started his professional career with SIG Strasbourg and after four seasons with the French club moved to Canada for Raptors 905. Toupane have played in the NBA with short-term contracts for the Denver Nuggets, the Milwaukee Bucks, and the New Orleans Pelicans. In the last season, Toupane played in Lithuania and Euroleague with Zalgiris Kaunas. In 44 games for the Euroleague Toupane averaged 5.9 points and 2.3 rebounds. In 42 games for the Lithuanian league, Toupane averaged 7.4 points and 2.5 rebounds.

Peristeri sign Ryan Harrow. The 27-year-old American guard graduated from Georgia State after having played for NC State and Kentucky and went undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft. Harrow started his professional career in Greece with Rethymno in 2015, where he averaged 12.9 points, 3.3 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game. He has also played in Italy with Victoria Libertas Pesaro, in Poland with Rosa Radom, and in Lithuania with Pieno žvaigždės.

Giannis Georgallis renews with Kolossos Rodou


Giannis Georgallis renews with Kolossos Rodou. That will be the eight year with the club for the 35-year-old Greek forward. Georgallis started his professional career with Apollon Patras and has also played for Panellinios and Panionios. In 2010 he joined Kolossos Rodou and after four years he moved to Apollon Patras before moving back to Kolossos in 2015. Georgallis is the captain of the club and the player with the most caps with Kolossos in the Basket League Greece.

PAOK signed Stavros Schizas

PAOK signed Stavros Schizas. The 29-year-old Greek guard/forward played college basketball with Kirtland Community College and Rochester College. Schizas started his professional career with Rethymno in 2014 and after two seasons with the Cretan club, he moved to Kymi. In the last season, Schizas played for Kolossos Rodou where he averaged 6.7 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.

Panathinaikos signed Keith Langford. The 34-year-old American guard graduated from Kansas and went undrafted in the 2005 NBA Draft. Langford most recently played in Israel with Maccabi Rishon where he averaged 19.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. Langford is a very experienced player as he has played professional basketball in the USA, Italy, Russia, Israel, China. In 2015 Langford represented the USA at the Panamerican Games in Toronto.

Olympiacos agreed terms with Aleksandar Vezenkov


Olympiacos agreed terms with Aleksandar Vezenkov. The 22-year-old Bulgarian also holds a Greek passport and returns to Greece after 3 years in Spain and Barcelona. Vezenkov started his professional career in 2011 with Aris and was approached by Olympiacos in 2013 before renewing his contract with Aris. Vezenkov was voted the Best Young Player of the Greek League in 2013, 2014, and 2015. He was named Greek League MVP in 2015 when he was the top scorer and second in rebounds in the league. After that Vezenkov declared for the NBA 2015 Draft but he later withdrew, and he continued in Spain with Barcelona. Vezenkov finally declared for the NBA 2017 Draft and was selected with the 57th overall pick by the Brooklyn Nets. He is a member of the senior men's Bulgarian national team.

Kolossos Rodou signed Stevie Browning. The 25-year-old American guard graduated from Marshall University and went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft. Browning started his professional career in Turkey with Trabzonspor and continued in Hungary with Szolnoki Olaj.

Panathinaikos signed Ioannis Papapetrou


Panathinaikos signed Ioannis Papapetrou. The 24-year-old Greek forward penned a three-year contract with the Greek champions. In 2012, Papapetrou joined the Texas Longhorns men's basketball team of the University of Texas, and one year later he started his professional career with Olympiacos. Papapetrou played five seasons with Olympiacos. In his last season, he averaged 8.9 points and 4.5 assists for the domestic league and 6.8 points and 3.6 rebounds for the Euroleague. Papapetrou was a member of all Greek junior national teams and he is a member of the senior Greek national basketball team.

Alex Angelakos renews with Kolossos Rodou. The 24-year-old Greek forward started his professional career with Kolossos in 2009 and after three years he moved to the UK where he played three seasons with the Leicester Riders. In 2015 Angelakos returned to Kolossos. In the last season Angelakos played 15 games with Kolossos averaging 1.53 points per game.

Holargos signed Michalis Kamperidis. The 24-year-old Greek forward agreed terms with the newly promoted team. Kamperidis started his career with Filathlitikos and has also played for AEK, Rethymno, and on loan to Peñas Huesca in Spain.

Holargos signed Alexandros Spyridonidis. The 23-year-old Greek guard started his professional career with Ilisiakos in 2012. In the last two seasons, he played for Koroivos Amaliadas, averaging 3.42 points and 1.31 assists in his last season. Spyridonidis has also played for KAOD and Kifisia in the Basket League Greece, and he was a member of the Greece U16, U18 and U20 national team.

Durham started his professional career in Sweden with Jamtland Basket where in 37 games he averaged 14.95 points and 6.11 assists per game. In the last season Durham played in Hungary with Pecsi VSK Veolia where he averaged 16.2 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists per game.

Rethymno signed Kevin Bracy-Davis. The 23-year-old American guard graduated from Davis & Elkins College and went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft. Bracy-Davis started his professional career in Chile with Leones de Quilpué and has also played in Spain with CDP Ponferrada and in Finland with Korihait. In 19 games for the Korisliiga with Korihait Bracy-Davis averaged 18.4 points and 5.6 rebounds.

Rethymno signed Akolda Manyang. The American-Sudanese center just graduated from Utah Valley and in 30 games during the last season he averaged 12.8 points and 8 rebounds per game. Manyang has also played college basketball in Oklahoma but he was released after being accused of aggravated robbery.

PAOK signed Jamal Jones. The 25-year-old American guard graduated from Texas A&M and went undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft. Jones was selected by the Delaware 87ers in Round 2 with Pick 12 in the 2014 Annual NBA Development League Draft. In the last season Jones played in Italy with Verona, where in 36 games he averaged 14.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. He has also played in France with Lille and in Finland with Kobrat.

Gary Bell renews with Aris. The 25-year-old American guard graduated from Gonzaga and went undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft. Bell started his career in Poland with Siarka Tarnobrzeg. Bell started the next season in Poland with Rosa Radom and finished it in France for Cholet Basket. He joined Aris in the previous season playing in 25 games for the Basket League where he averaged 6.9 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.

Thanasis Skourtopoulos is the new head coach of Panionios

Thanasis Skourtopoulos is the new head coach of Panionios. The 53-year-old Greek coach returns to Panionios after 2012 when he coached the club for six games. Skourtopoulos has worked as an assistant coach in AEK and Panellinios, and as the head coach in Aigaleo, Peristeri, Ikaros Kallitheas, Rethymno, Faros Larisas, and Apollon Patras in Greece, and Keravnos Strovolou in Cyprus.

Promitheas signed Dimitris Katsivelis


Promitheas signed Dimitris Katsivelis. The 27-year-old Greek guard started his career with Mantoulidis and has also played for Olympiacos, PAOK, and AEK in Greece. In 2016 Katsivelis moved to Kazakhstan to play for Astana. In the previous season Katsivelis was the second top scorer of PAOK in the first round of the regular season. He was a member of all youth Greek national basketball teams and in 2017 he became a member of the senior men's Greek national basketball team.

Luca Banchi is the new head coach of AEK

Luca Banchi is the new head coach of AEK. The 53-year-old coach penned an one year contract with the Greek club and will be the first Italian coach in the club's history. Banchi has won two Italian championships, one with Siena in 2013 and one with Armani Milano in 2014. After Milano Banchi coached Auxilium Torino and in the last season he worked with Brose Bamberg where he replaced Andrea Trinchieri.
