Aris beat Aries Trikala for Basket League twenty fourth day

Aris beat Aries Trikala for Basket League Grece 2014-2015 twenty fourth day. The visitors were leading the score in the whole game. Torrey Thomas had 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Double double for Vasilis Simtsak with 11 points and 10 rebounds. LeMarcus Reed had 9 points and 8 rebounds, Ogo Adegboye had 12 points. Aleksandar Vezenkov had 7 points with 1/9 three pointers, and 7 rebounds. For Aries Trikala Kwame Alexander had 16 points and 8 rebounds, Brian Tracey had 11 points and 9 rebounds, Alex Harris had 22 points, and Justin Ingram had 12 points and 9 assists.

Aris beat Nea Kifisia for Basket League eighteenth day

Aris beat Nea Kifisia for Basket League eighteenth day. This was the sixth victory for Aris in the last seven games. Aris is improving while Nea Kifisia is going worse in the second round of the League. For Nea Kifisia Xavier Silas had 16 points and 6 rebounds, Giannis Psathas had 12 points and 4 rebounds, Uros Duvnjak had 11 points and 4 assists, Dimitris Mavroeidis had 6 rebounds and 7 fouls drawn. For Aris Aleksandar Vezenkov made another double double with 17 points, 11 rebounds, 7 fouls drawn and 4 assists. LeMarcus Reed had 16 points and 9 rebounds, Torey Thomas had 18 points and 7 assists, Ogo Adegboye had 10 points and Vasilis Simtsak had 7 rebounds.

Panathinaikos beat Aris for Basket League tenth day

Panathinaikos hosted and beat Aris for Basket League tenth day. Panathinaikos played without Dimitris Diamantidis and Aris took advantage of it and was leading the score by 14-19 in the first quarter. Nikos Pappas entered the court and with a 10-0 run gave his team the scoring lead. Panathinaikos was keeping the lead from 15 points, 68-53, to 5 points, 74-69, and won the game. For Panathinaikos Nikos Pappas had 23 points, Jānis Blūms had 14 points, Vlantimir Giankovits had 9 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Esteban Batista made another double double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. For Aris Aleksandar Vezenkov had 19 points and 6 rebounds, Muhamed Pašalić had 12 points and 6 assists, LeMarcus Reed had 13 points and 8 rebounds, Drew Naymick had 5 points and 9 rebounds.

Kolossos Rodou beat Aris for Basket League seventh day

Aris hosted Kolossos Rodou for Basket League seventh day. Mike James returned to good games and Kolossos Rodou dominated first quarter in Thessaloniki against Aris with partial score 9-25. Aris balanced the game in the second quarter but did not lower the difference. Aleksandar Vezenkov finished first half with 10 points and 9 rebounds while Mike James had 17 points. In the first half Aris had 2/16 three pointers. In the third quarter the home team counter attacked and lowered the difference in one digit number but could not continue in the last quarter and Kolossos celebrated a great victory in Thessaloniki against Aris. Aleksandar Vezenkov made another double double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. LeMarcus Reed had 14 points and Vasilis Symtsak had 9 points. For the winners Mike James had 28 points and 7 rebounds, Jamelle Hagins made a double double with 19 points and 11 rebounds and Tom Liden had 16 points.

Aris beat KAOD for Basket League fourth day

Aris beat KAOD in Drama for Basket League fourth day. Aris was leading the score in the whole game but KAOD counter attacked in the end and 14 seconds before the end Spyridonidis equalized the score, 72-72. Moourtos missed two free throws but Aleksandar Vezenkov was there to collect the rebound and score two free throws which gave his team the victory. Another great game for KAOD's captain Thodoris Zaras with 26 points and 5 assists. For KAOD Rob Loe added 9 points and 5 rebounds, Michel had 7 points and 7 rebounds, Diamantis Slaftsakis had 6 rebounds, 4 points and 3 assists. For Aris Ogo Adegboye had 17 points, LeMarcus Reed had 9 points and 7 rebounds, Drew Naymick had 12 points and 7 rebounds. Aleksandar Vezenkov made another double double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Nea Kifisia beat Aris for Greek Cup

Nea Kifisia hosted and beat Aris for Greek Cup round three. The home team based on the experience of Michalis Kakiouzis and Dimitris Mavroeidis won Aris who got score by Muhamed Pašalić, Reed and Thomas but not from Vezenkov as expected. Torey Thomas lost the last shot and the chance for an extra time and Nea Kifisia qualified to the quarter finals of the Greek Basketball Cup.

Aris beat AEK for Greek Cup

Aris beat AEK in Thessaloniki for Greek Basketball Cup. The home team was leading the game in the whole game. Dusan Sakota and Nontas Papantoniou of AEK did their best to win the game but in the end the home team scored all crucial free throws and secured the victory. For Aris Aleksandar Vezenkov had 22 points and 10 rebounds and LeMarcus Reed had 17 points, 6 steals and 4 steals. Besides Papantoniou and Sakota, Zisis Sarikopoulos made a double double with 12 points and 13 rebounds against his former team. Aris qualified to the next round where will play against Nea Kifisia in Athens.

Aris signed LeMarcus Reed

Aris signed LeMarcus Reed. The 25 years old American played two years with Texas Arlington in NCAA averaging 17.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in his last season. Reed then moved to Sweden for LF Basket Luleå and Belgium for Antwerp. In the previous season Reed played in Cyprus for Etha Engomis where he averaged 13.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
