DeMarcus Nelson got Serbian citizenship as his manager Misko Raznatovic announced on twitter. Nelson will probably won't play for Serbia National Team but will not count as an American for his new team Panathinaikos.

Olympiacos signed Tremmell Darden. The 32 years old American forward graduated from Niagara University where he played for Niagara Purple Eagles men's basketball. As a rookie he played for Erdemir Spor Kulübü in Turkey and then moved to Belgium for Leuven and Charleroi. Darden moved to another continent for the Melbourne South Dragons before returning to Europe and France for Strasbourg and Nancy. Next teams were Unicaja Malaga in Spain, ŽalgirisKaunas in Lithuania and finally Real Madrid in Spain. With Real Madrid he played 31 games for the Euroleague and had 5.7 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.

After college Penn played in Japan for the Takamatsu Five Arrows (高松ファイブアローズ) and the he moved to Denmark for the Bakken Bears. With Bakken Bears Peen won the Danish Championship and had 16.9 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.

Iberostar Tenerife CB Canarias signed Michalis Tsairelis. The Greek forward is 2.08m high and played 35 games with PAOK in the Basket League Greece 2013-2014 having 12.20 points and 5.11 rebounds per game. Tsairelis was named MVP of the fourth day of the previous season.

Apollon Patras' friendly games with CSKA Moscow and Panathinaikos

Apollon Patras arragned friendly games with CSKA Moscow and Panathinaikos in Karpenisi where the team will prepare for the new season. On 29th August Apollon will play against Panathinaikos and on 14th September will play against CSKA Moscow. Apollon will probably organize Patras Cup friendly tournament on 10th and 11th September if the team has not games for the Greek Cup.

Apollon Patras signed Diogenis Gorgonis. The 16 years old player is a member of the Greece U16 national team and had played for Kavala and PAOK. Gorgonis will play for Apollon Patras youth team Apolloniada.

Panathinaikos signed DeMarcus Nelson. The 29 years old American combo guard signed a two years contract with renewal option. The player graduated from Duke College, then was signed by Golden State Warriors but played with Bakersfield Jam and Austin Toros in the NBA Development League. He continued his career in Croatia for KK Zagreb, returned to NBA for Chicago Bulls but moved back to Europe and Italy for SS Scandone Avellino, then France for Cholet Basket, Ukraine for BC Donetsk, back to Cholet Basket and finally to Serbia for Crvena Zvezda. With Crvena Zvezda (Red Star) Nelson played in the Euroleague and Eurocup having more than 10 points and 4 rebounds per game.

Nea Kifisia signed Petros Melissaratos. The 21 years old Greek center was playing for Panelefsiniakos in the previous season and had 3.9 points and 2 rebounds per game while being in the top five best young players of the League.

Panelefsiniakos signed Giannis Athanasoulas. The Greek forward is 2.02m high and was previously playing for Panionios. Athanasoulas has also played in the Eurocup with AEK. Valuable addition for Panelefsiniakos and another loss for Panionios.

Rethymno Aegean signed Vincent Council. The American guard is 1.88m high and graduated from Providence college where he had 15.9 points, 7.5 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game. Council played in Hapoel Tel Aviv in the previous season where he had 6.2, 3.1 and 1.7 assists per game.Council participated in the NBA Summer League 2013-2014 with Miami Heat.

Aris signed Dimitris Priftis as head coach

Aris signed Dimitris Priftis as head coach. Priftis will return to Aris after the season 2009-2010 when he was the assistant coach of  David Blatt. In the previous season Priftis was the assistant coach of Fragiskos Alvertis in Panathinaikos where he won the Greek Championship and he is currently the assistant coach of Fotis Katsikaris in the National Team of Greece that will participate in the forthcoming World Championship in Spain.

Galil Gilboa signed Jeremiah Wilson

Hapoel Galil Gilboa signed the American power forward Jeremiah Wilson. The player played for Apollon Patras and last season he averaged 13.2 points and 8 rebounds per game. Wilson finished the season with six double doubles and helped his team enter the play offs.

Apollon Patras signed Travis Cohn (the third). Cohn is 1.88m high and Jacksonville University graduate where he played 4 years in the NCAA. Then Cohn played one year in the NBA Development League for Springfield Armor. In the previous year Cohn was playing in Icelandic Dominos League for Ungmennafelagio Snaefell where he had 23.4 points, 5.9 assists and 6.8 rebounds per game in average. Cohn won the Icelandic League 2014 dunk contest.

Panathinaikos signed A.J. Slaughter. The 26 years old American guard signed a two years contract with the Greek champions. Slaughter played for the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers college and started his professional career in Angelico Biella of the Lega Basket Serie A, then moved to Belgium for Belfius Mons-Hainaut and France for Cholet Basket and Élan Chalon, before moving to Greece and Panathinaikos. Slaughter is 1.91 m (6 ft 3 in) high and plays as shooting guard. He will debut will Panathinaikos in the Euroleague, after good seasons in the Eurocup.

Charis Markopoulos agreed terms with Korivos Amaliadas

Charis Markopoulos is Korivos Amaliadas' new coach. The 32 years old Greek will coach Korivos Amaliadas in its first year in Basket League Greece, since the coach Vasilis Nipergialis who promoted the team from A2 parted ways with Korivos a week ago. Markopoulos was a member of PAOK's technical team and had been head coach of Iraklis and assistant coach of Aris.

Panelefsiniakos signed Efthimis Tsakaleris. The 24 years old Greek was playing for Aris BC in the previous season where in 18 games had 3.2 points and 2 rebounds in average. Tsakaleris has also played for Panellinios and PAOK.

Apollon Patras signed Marios Batis. This is the second player that moves from Panionios to Apollon Patras during this transfer season, after Gaios Skordilis. Batis' contract has a buy out option if until 30 of July the player has an offer by either Panathinaikos or Olympiacos. Kostas Mitoglou will continue his career in NCAA for Wake Forest college. Mitoglou played only 3 games with Aris in the Basket League Greece 2013-2014 as he was signed as a future prospect for the team. Aris want to sign a deal with the player in case he returns back to Europe but since the player is 18 years old he is free to sign with any team. Mitoglou is a member of the U18 Greece national team.

Enisey Krasnoyarsk signed DJ Cooper as his manager Charis Papadopoulos confirmed. The American guard recently acquired a Bosnian passport and his new contract has a release option if DJ Cooper agrees with a team that will play in Euroleague until 10th of July. DJ Cooper had a great season with PAOK and he break the assists record of the Basket League Greece in his first professional season. DJ Cooper was the MVP of the first round and best guard of the Basket League Greece.

Apollon Patras announced the contract renewals of the captain Nikos Argyropoulos and Andreas Pelekoudas. The team also announced the releases of Giannis Lianos, Thanasis Zafeiris and Vladimir Petrović. Rethymno Aegean signed Mouhammad Faye. This will be the third different Greek team for the 29 years old Senegalese forward, after Ikaros Kallitheas and Panelefsiniakos. With Panelefsiniakos in the previous season Faye had 13.5 points and 7.6 rebounds in average. Faye will play with Senegal national team against Greece in the forthcoming World Basketball Championship.
